God has created me and you for a hunger and a desire to connect with Him, yet we live in the world. A world that is making it possible to connect with a plethora of desires at a simple touch.
Satan has taken advantage of our modern-day technology. Yes, the one that roams around LIKE a roaring lion waiting to devour us at every click.
He comes in pretty little ads, specific to our interest and likes.
Now that hunger and those desires are at the tip of our fingers in an instant coupled with instant gratification.
There isn't any waiting, no time for prayer, or obedience on our part.
Just a desire or hunger and what is LIKE satisfaction.
But are we really satisfied?
Or are we left with a desire and hunger for more and more?
Are we filling every free moment with the voices from the world?
Or are we filling ourselves with the Word of God?
God wired us to desire connection.
I encourage you to take some time and check your connection.
What or who are you connected to?
Is it leaving you empty and never satisfied?
I challenge you to connect with Jesus, open His Word and choose a few verses, read them out loud, write them on a note card, take them with you, digest them and allow them to become part of who you are.
Connect to the One who created you, He knows exactly what you need.
